Anthony Ballestero

Coach Anthony Ballestero is in his 3rd year as Head Coach of the Aztecs Basketball program. In his first year as Head Coach, he lead the Aztecs to their first League TItle since the 16’-17’ season, as 20’-21’ North Hills League Champs. Coach Anthony has a passion for connecting with student athletes and helping them grow as basketball players, students and young men.

Coach Antony was a standout high school athlete, who played all 4 years of basketball at the Varsity Level. During those years, he earned quite a few top honors including local, county and state recognition. Most notably, he was CIF 2AA Player of the Year. Coach Anthony went on to play at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) where he was Captain of the Men’s Basketball team.

​Coach Anthony, alongside his brother, JoJo Ballestero co-own one of the top Basketball Player Developement programs in Southern California, Rock Solid Academy (RSA). RSA trains youth, High School and Collegiate Athletes. Over the past 5 years, RSA has worked with 75+ student athletes that have continued their education and competed athletically at 4 year Universities.

High School  (Canyon, Anaheim)-  2014 CIF-Player of Year and Championship, Anaheim Athlete of the Year, Century League MVP, Most wins in schools History.

Collegiate (UC San Diego)  -     2-Year Captain, 3 time Conference Champions, Highest player win percentage in program history.

UC San Diego- BA in Communications
